OUR STORY

One Kid One Smile was created after 4 years of careful planning and research, all centered around our love for children and our will to help the most vulnerable one.  It all started in Da Nang, Vietnam, with our two founders: Quyen Nhat Pham and Grégoire Du Boullay.

Quyen is a talented driven Vietnamese with over 10 years experience in IT Industry ; Grégoire is a passionately curious French, with over 20 years of experience working in Business. Although they both come from different culture with diverse background, both of them share the same love for Human Being, and especially for kids. 

Quyen Nhat Pham : From Vietnam, the talented Quyen has over 10 years of experience working in IT at the international level.

Grégoire Du Boullay : From France, Grégoire helped businesses with passion and curiosity for over 20 years.

Inspired by the children’s resilience and strength, they decided to create a community that would bring joy and happiness to kids in hospital facing long time treatments. 

Smiling is known to be a universal language, stronger than cultural and social differences. For One kid One Smile (OKOS), it’s even more than that. It’s also a physical and social medicine. Since September 2019, OKOS is gathering more and more Smile Makers in France and in Vietnam for one purpose: bring laughs and joy to kids by giving them the opportunity to create art, participate in education workshops and witness different types of shows. 

OUR DREAM

Being strong believers of the power of laughter, OKOS’ dream is to create smiles on kids’ faces when they might need it the most. We wish to help them feel calmer and joyful so they can heal and grow up to be confident dreamers. 

Whatever the difficulties and disabilities they may be facing, we always focus on their potential, competencies and interests. We know they can fly on their own, we only provide some wind to help them take the leap.

Always keeping this purpose in mind, our Smile Makers’ ambitions are to:

  • Nurture children’s positive mind and cultivate hope;
  • Help them discover their passions, explore their talents and build new skills;
  • Assist them in shaping their dreams and inspire them to take in charge their own future.
